Did anyone else catch that the LEAGUE is the one making the announcement, not Dryer & Reinbold? Tonybucks at work.

Complain as we like, if I was TG and I was spending to put cars on the track, I would do exactly the same thing. The gomers will love it, it will get lots of press, and it will become the story of May rather than just Danica and possible reunification.

If its my dime, am I going to pay for Lil Al, Mikey, Arie, Eddie and Chesson or Alex Barron, Salizar, and Miera?

But they are all going to disappear come June and Gene Simmons will not be able to help.

Tony should just pay me to go on a few NOLS semesters and I'll paste IRL stickers all over Patagonia and the Yukon :gomer:

That Chilean IRL market is booming!!

Al, Jr.'s teammate will be the very special Buddy Lazier -- gives a whole new meaning to D&R Racing. :gomer:

There is no future at Indy, just the past.

It's a freak show at 16th and G'Town, this is just like Bennie, DW, and Bobbie Allison coming back to stage a "run" at the Daytona 500. Who would have thought racing at Indy would equate to seat filling,"cruisin" around the storied bricks and bringing back folks WAY past their prime to help sell seats. Sickeningly sad. Indy is a pathetic joke, keep 'err outta the cheesegrater grandpa.

Hey! Don't knock greasy old salad bar! ;)

I remember an article in the NY Times on the state of the IRL, a surprisingly balanced, in depth and comprehesive one too, in about 1998-99 that stated salad bar had proved "there was not a car he could not wreck".

Blood testing should take place in the Pits right before he get's into his race car every time.

Very sad to think he was so weak to distroy a marriage and his children having to have to know what a failure he is as a man. Really sad :shakehead

Ya'll think the has-been drunk is capable of heeding his own words and 'respecting the place'? Obviously not, else he wouldn't be doing this pathetic stunt. Since he can't follow his own advice, there's likely a 'carry him out on a stretcher' scene in the near future.

Screw em. These idiots hurt themselves I'm all out of sympathy.

Not just talking a blood test for drinking but for recreational drugs.
As for Scott Harrington DUI's bad but just like Jr recreational drugs and wife beating dosen't set well. I'm talking about Shelly Unser don't feel sorry for second wife of Jr's. And Jr's kids scared to death of him while he was taking drugs and beating on the childrens mother.
So sad :shakehead

My thoughts exactly, what happens when the leagues headliner beats 'em all for her first win? She is mindy. :saywhat:

Wonder if the "Press" will pick up on the fact that Tony can only fill the 500 field by dredging the Old Age Homes, Rehab Centers, Kiddie Day Care, Phsychiatrist Offices, and Back Street Bars !!

Should make a good article !

Al 2 will be a field filler, cruising around mid pack on TG's dime especially when you consider his team, Dufus & Retard. I wonder who will get the prize money.

Good point, Linda. It ain't just the booze you have to consider with this washout. For his own sake, I hope he's in shape in May.
