BILD Newspaper, German media reports...they're both in. Interesting. When is the last time 2 champs duked it out on the same team? Watch Fernando win this year, move, and win again next year! :D

Ugh. If they're reporting it, the opposite is probably true...

Know what you mean. Can't imagine Michael working on an equal basis with anyone, but IF Ferrari is to be the best car perhaps that's the only way to determine the TRUE champion! :D

Same thing about the Bild newspaper article here:

Also has rumor that next year will be Micheal and Kimi at Ferrari.

I think this would be a real interesting duel to watch.

I can't see Ferrari letting Kimi slip through their fingers. Schumacher isn't going to be around much longer. I could see them doing something to make the Kimi deal happen even if Schumacher stays.

If Ferrari is just looking for a #2 driver they can just take the other McLaren driver that gets his assed handed to him by Kimi on a regular basis.

Germany's 'Bild' newspaper reported this week that the presently McLaren-driving Finn will earn $150 million over the next five years at Maranello, complementing reports that Michael Schumacher has penned a new $91.2 million deal to stay in red until the end of 2008.

26-year-old Raikkonen, however, denied the latest gossip, which now includes reports that his managerial team may have visited the Toyota HQ in Cologne.

''I have not signed a new contract with anybody,'' Kimi said, '(and) this Ferrari thing is written again and again, but there is nothing new (to report).''

Ferrari doesn't do co-#1 drivers. They always do a #1 and a piss-boy.

KR ain't nobody's piss-boy.

Specially after news like this comes out.... But then again the origin is probably Bild again so can we definitively say he is done at the end of the season now? :D

Michael to remain with Ferrari

(TSN) - German media reports indicate Michael Schumacher may have already put pen to paper on a new deal with Ferrari.

The unconfirmed reports say Schumacher has signed a new two year deal with the Scuderia. His current contract with the team is set to expire at the end of this season.

Schumacher, the oldest driver in the F1 series this year, has indicated in the past that he would not make up his mind about his future until sometime this summer, waiting to see whether or not Ferrari will be a competitive force in 2006.

Schumacher's manager, Willi Weber, tells German newspaper Bild that they will not be making any statements about his future until this summer. However, he added that "positive results" certainly wouldn't hurt.

Schumacher is coming off a second place finish in the season opening race in Bahrain last weekend.

The German reports also indicate that Kimi Raikkonen has agreed to join Ferrari next season as well. The Finn's future has also been the subject of much speculation this winter.

Reliability issues at McLaren are expected to be the main factor behind whether or not he elects to stay with the team.

The team appeared not to do itself any favours after Raikkonen suffered a suspension failure in qualifying last weekend. However, the Finn battled back from last place on the grid to finish third in Sunday's race.
