well the actual infraction was taken care of before the race started and the car then passed inspection before and after the 500.

i think points should be taken away if it effects the race, which in this case, it did not.

now if you think points should be taken away because he tried to cheat, and because it hurt the image of NASCAR, then you may have a good argument.

NASCAR must feel so.

everytime someone does something Helton doesnt like, they get penalized for "actions detrimental to stock car racing"

of course, theres no guidelines for this rule. :confused:
