Well if their argument is accurate then they have every right to be "cryin" over this. If you are gonna label someone as a racist in todays society, you should at least be accurate in doing so.

Rupp was as much a racist as Darrell K Royal, when the program's main boosters are racist as hell there's not much you can do as a coach... I'm displeased by the historical revisionism from some SI writer back in the late 80's that began painting him that way. But we all know SI sucks anyways, so what's new?

now if Stu wants to make an argument about "accuracy" he needs to open Webster's and read the entry describing the limits of a "documentary" and how Glory Road does not purport itself as one...

now if Stu wants to make an argument about 60's east Texas not truly being that way back then, well in that case...

he's still full of it :gomer:

as for East Texas State (original name of A&M Commerce), sucks to be portrayed in such a negative light unfairly, but I have the sneeeeeaking suspicion it's not far from the truth... east texas: the land of Grand Dragon's and James Byrd Jr.

AND WHY MUST FIGURE SKATING STILL BE ON THE TV?!? GOD I HATE NBC!!!

i'm not making either argument.

all i am saying is if they are in fact factual that they didnt do all that racist crap to the other team, then it isnt fair to the image of the school to depict that in a movie that is based on actual events.

and since when does a documentary have to be factual?
