lotsa photogs were in Florida for Sebring testing and Grand Am this past week. I said screw that noise and took a slightly different path. something different for me... and a damn fine reason to pick up the camera.

Nice shots Crapus, where was this?

Also, got a question for you. What shutter speed did you use on those, I like the way you managed to "freeze" the car while letting the wheels blur; it maintains the illusion of speed that way.

Atlanta, Michigan (about 6 hours from Chicago)

shutter speed varied depending on what type of look I was going for. but the pan of the Clearcut racing Subie was at 1/60, iirc. some are shot at much higher speeds however.

Sweet shots!

What the hell kind of car is the white number 987? Fugly.Golf. About the only cars running those rallys are Subarus and VWs because they don't break.

SCHA-weeeeeeeettttt !!!! :D

Nice effort

The "bone stock" looking Golf 2dr appears to have some "modified cooling" extras near the front fascia.... perhaps an intercooler ?

Great shots !

Atlanta, Michigan (about 6 hours from Chicago) Is this the one that used to be called the POR (Press On Regardless) ?

Great shots, thanks for posting them.

I actually think the Lake Superior Rally based in Houghton is what is left of the POR, but I am not up on my rally knowledge like I use to.
