Remember to use the easily flushable TP at halftime this year.

The beginning of a dynasty, or so I thought.

Next year, next year.

What's scary is that I can name all the players in the "Shuffle" picture except one. Is that Leslie Richardson behind Gault & in front of Fencick?

Don't you mean Mike Richardson? I think that is who it is.

Lesley is Lesley frasier.

Cornerback-Leslie Frazier #21
Defensive coordinator Buddy Ryan pined for a shutdown corner throughout his tenure with the Bears, but that corner was to team with Frazier, not replace him. Frazier was a dependable lock-down cornerback for the team, and his career would have continued to grow were it not for a career-ending knee injury suffered during the Super Bowl as he ran a reverse on a punt return.

I had forgotten that it ended his career.

How many Bears fans does it take to change a light bulb?

20. 1 to change it and 19 to stand around and talk about how great the old one was.

Guilty as charged. :gomer:

Hard to believe I was 15.

#27 Mike Richardson has since moved to California. He is a resident of the correctional system there.

And thank you to the McCaskey's for giving Chicago such a wonderful franchise. You'd think the NFL would step in and suggest they actually pay some players so the 2nd biggest market isn't so bad so much of the time.

I was in college at the time and living with 5 hard-core Bear fans. It was an awful time for me, being an Oakland/LA/Oakland Raider fan.

I remember arguing over which team had the better music video. The epitome of "we suck less."

Thomas Allen Thayer (Tom) was a center/guard in the National Football League for the Chicago Bears and the Miami Dolphins. He won a Super Bowl as a member of the 1985 Chicago Bears.

Nope. Never heard of him.

He probably could have been good if he'd gone somewhere other than Notre Dame.

Tom Thayer now lives in Hawaii and surfs. Saw that on TV somwhere the other day. I remember an interview that he dreamt of, as a kid, being introduced in the Superbowl as a starter for the Chicago Bears. There's one person's dream that came true.

Ate, lived, and breathed Chicago Bears in the late 70's and all of the 80's living in southwest MI and NW Indiana. Every Sunday watched the Jack Pardee Show, Neill Armstrong Show, and the Mike Ditka Show until moving to soCal. '85 was the best season ever. Even knew all the words of the Superbowl Shuffle at one point.

Grew up on Walter Payton. Will always be one of my heros. Saw him at the Chicago Auto show, but too many people around him to get an autograph or shake hands. Finally got to talk to him at the Long Beach paddock. Shed more than a tear when I heard of his passing.
