But Texas promoter Eddie Gossage said no way, the race had to go at 6 p.m. because there would be too much down time from NASCAR qualifying at 3 o'clock to the IROC show. Yeah, like an extra hour of drinking beer and screaming out Little E's name would really inconvenience these folks.

It seems to me that almost everyone has something better to do than IROC.

Yeah, no kidding....IROC became a non-issue a long time ago in my mind.

No F1 drivers either. This series has sucked $-Hit for a long time.

There's no true race of champions out there... IROC isn't the least bit international, and the ROC in France uses a Mickey Mouse track that doesn't tell us much of anything.

But at least the ROC has representatives from all the major series.
