Somewhat disappointing. He didn't **** Spencer's **** up before interrogating him, and he only killed one guy.

However it did involve scissors to the jugular and then some, and it WAS an assassin. Triple Word Score for Jack :)

Anyone have some time to fill at work? :D Tell me about the guns Jack's holding in the posted pictures. :) SIG SP2022. From the pic it looks like either the 9mm or .357 SIG to me (bore size on the .40 S&W is larger), the other tell is the number of shots that he fires without reloading. The .40 version has a magazine capacity of 10 whereas the 9mm has a capacity of 15 rounds while the .357 SIG splits the difference at 12. Since the .357 SIG is the hot new round and has been adopted by Federal Air Marshals, Secret Service, Texas DPS, etc., we can guess that is probably what they have him using rather than the WWI vintage 9mm.

But that's jut my opinion... ;)

Thanks for the info!

So they're two different SIGs? The second one looks smaller and blockier to me, the first one appears to have a raised area at the back - not the sights (if that's what the small raised bits are), but what they're on...

Now I must go find out what kind of SIG Skinner carried on the X Files. :D

Great info OC ..... but now I'm afraid of you. Yes, the 30 second Google search is a fearsome thing... :D Funnier yet is that I got it wrong, it doesn't appear to actually be a SIG 2022. I only had a few minutes, so I didn't look closely enough. The concave trigger guard is only used AFAIK by Heckler & Koch and SIG, and I found a pic of the SIG 2022 first. Later, when I had more time I looked closer and realized it was more likely an HK USP Compact. All the comments about caliber stand.

Given the picture above and the close resemblence of the HP USP and SIG 2022 I don't feel too bad about blowing the call. The HK is also widely used by law enforcement.

ocI cannot argue with your conclusions, or fault you for the SIG, H&K confusion, but using the number of shots fired before reloading on a TV show as part of the evidence is pretty ****ing funny!

Local cops use .357 SIG. Sig Sauer gives them the weapons for free. Gets them hooked on the round. Harley Davidson gives them a motorcycle for $1.00 lease. Of course, the lease is up and renewal is $25,000.

Kind of like the drug pusher/free red hat model, only the drugs, guns and bikes actually works!

Pardon me for straying off the gun topic, but I have been wondering something since the season premiere.

Remember the finale last season? CTU failed to find the stolen missle and warhead. In the final scenes, the missle launched. This season began with a graphic saying it was now 18 months since Jack became "dead".

What happened to the missle? I was waiting for a long time for this season to begin to see if they shot it out of the sky or which city got charcoaled.

Did I miss something?

Also agree regarding how the companies pimp there products to law enforcement. It's also no accident that the SIG and HK look nearly identical as they were designed to the same set of specs.

the veepee just showed up this episode, first time we've seen or heard from him, so you didnt miss anything there.

rudy got stuck in holding because he started flipping out. he was making bad decisions so people were working behind his back. he fired the girl that edgar went looking at the end of last nights episode, he arrested buchanon, he tried to arrest jack.

after they found teh machine shop, they took all the gas back to the head russian dude. head russian dude called Logan and demanded to know the route of the russian pm's motorcade. Logan complied, his wife flipped out and went with them. Logan never called back the motorcade, it was warned at the last possible second and Aaron saved the day.
