I was watching the Channel 4 news here tonight and I think they said that former Packer Gilbert Brown has become part of the management for the speedway. I don't know what kind of experience he has with sports management, but he was a good nose guard.

Brown became interested in working with the Mile after attending the Champ Car weekend last year. Although Brown said he had some other business possibilities in the works, this will be his main focus after football.

No mention of him attending the EARL event. Maybe he would have backed out if he had seen that. :p
