I love racing coverage in the off-season!

As always, Speed Channel is showing BTCC, DTM and the Aussie V8 Supercars during the winter. BTCC and DTM are being broadcast on Wednesdays from noon-2:00 ET, and the V8s are on at the same time on Thursdays. I'm hoping the WTCC will hit our airwaves in January like the ETCC did.

A1GP is being shown by the Outdoor Life Network (OLN), starting this weekend. Here (http://www.olntv.com/nw/article/view/7721/?UserDef=true&catID=76) is their broadcast schedule. I just happened to stumble upon it this evening.

I actually like the A1GP, it might be becaused I'm starved of Champ Cars or maybe the close racing, I dunno. Having said that, the cars are SO BUTT UGLY!

Yeah, check out the V8s, there's some real racin' there and the seem to be able to turn right. ;)

Onother feeder alike series with ugly cars.I watch it because it's only thing going in this winter months but people who are the owners are giving me the creeps therefor I find very hard to be over enthusiastic.

6:00PM - 8:00PM A1 GRAND PRIX (TV-NR)
Round 3- Circuito Estoril, Portugal
Located on the northern coast of the estuary of the River Tagus. It can be found in the hills behind the once-glamorous resort town of Estoril - which has grand hotels reminiscent of the French Riviera and a huge casino - and the small fishing port of Cascais. An ever-present on the F1 calendar between 1984 and 1996, Estoril was removed from the 1997 schedule after the FIA were unhappy with the status of redevelopment work on the circuit. With a track lay-out very similar to its Iberian counterpart at Barcelona, the track is hard on the tyres and with long sweeping turns the circuit can be tiring for the drivers. In February 2000 the revised circuit was finally re-granted a testing license for Formula 1 cars.
