Less than 2 months to go--I'm getting so jazzed! :D Looking forward to meeting more racing buddies, and seeing people that I haven't seen in years (like reoracer and Lizzerd)!

Ya know, I don't think ANAYA is actually a real person, but instead is just an automatically generated Champ Car commercial.

Stop by the CCIC booths at RA, and you'll see for yourself that she's real! :) We've enjoyed many race weekends together.

I received my RA tickets in the mail last Thursday; the joy of receiving them was somewhat mitigated in view of what happened that day. Still pulling for Shorty!

Unless there are cancellations with no waiting lists you'll have a hard time finding a hotel within 45 miles. Most places from Green Bay to Milwaukee are booked. Check to see if there are any house swappers still offering rooms or check out Lakeland College for a dorm room if all you need is a place to sleep. If you want to camp the track has camping for $75 for the weekend or $275 if you want an RV spot with a trackside view. I wish I still had a house in the area- I'd offer out rooms :)

We have slogged through 16 car fields. It's not like were dummies. We could have given up on these turkeys long ago. Bought boats, learned a different language, fished, flew planes, woodworking, drag racing, >Gasp< Stockcar Racing (a route many took) or a pleatura of other things

Bring the car, stick a starter in the back of it, take it out for a few laps in anger

a freakin' show car aint gonna cut it IMO. If they just have it sitting there, are they gonna have a Sperifico brother standing alongside in his driving jammies???

A good spot for guys putting a wheel off. A gradual down hill entry, brake & gradual up hill exit. It's a good shaded spot for hot days, a stand of bleachers that aren't shaded but you can sit amongst the trees too. You can't see too far ahead as the cars come in but it's a worthwhile hike, a food stand nearby too.

Are you saying T2 is full??

I can't get answers on who's going with me, so I'll be last minute (like everything ELSE in my ******* life:flame: ).

Is T2 camping full? If it's me and the g., is turn-gotobedby10 full?

And judging from years gone by, there will be plenty of room in T2... as well as an @ssload of firewood. :D

Are they real strict about the under 18 thing? Deciding about the bro or the kid. Or both??

Gotta get my bro on the horn. He was doing something called "dialup" all last night.

you seem to have alot of difficulty making decisions.:gomer:You think? You're probably right, but I don't know.

I mean, sometimes I can decide stuff, like, right away, for example, "I'll have the imported beer", or "don't stuff your brother into the air register, please". Other times I seem to waver, such as, "Maybe we should pull the plug on grandma", or "That gun might be unloaded."

Too often I make decisions right away, starting with "Hold my beer, and check this out", then ending very sadly.:(

So. You might be right, but I'm not sure.

I can't wait for this race. We paid for 2 camp sites. Going to try to get sites near 2 and 3 back by St. Johns Baptist stand so we can walk between turn 5 and the site. I'm getting ****ed up every night and watching everything I can. Only bad thing is the woman is coming along. If she says one thing about my drinking I'm going to have to raise the pimp hand.

I'm in for race day - sans girlfriend. I'll be crashing the chop/Warlock site on the mountain bike along with my ever-dependable backpack cooler.

Outside of Hurry downs.
Inside of the entrance to the carousel.
Inside of turn 1.
Inside of turn 3.
Sargento bridge.
Inside of turn 5.

I've gotten some good shots on the outside of 14. Here's a couple from ALMS last month:

Funniest quote ever. This is the kind of thing I always say right before my wife kicks my ass.
