I was just jolted from my day dreaming (a certain representative a really cool race series and me walking along the beach at Surfers, sun set, hand in hand..) that the CCWS could champion all of the forgotten cities of the US. So many cities are undergoing revitalization through downtown renaissance i.e. 'antique shops', restaurants and weekend 'events'.

Of course the headliner of the forgotten city tour would be the namesake itself the Grand Prix of Toledo 250.

Then they could jet on over to Wilmington VT. Spin it on down to Providence RI, truck it out to Albuquerque NM and slid over to Tuscon. Haul it up to Lincoln NE. Etc.

Think about it. It would be a great way to grow a grass roots street race fanbase. Who the hell ever heard of Charlotte NC before NASCAR made it famous,. S&^t, I still have no idea where Bristol VA is and I grew up in VA but everyone knows it's a race town. :gomer: Roll some race cars around andyou're on the map son.

Thoughts on the thread. I thought Brandi won because all the pictures I saw of her had a very straight and honest look to them. The other candidates tried at least once to look too cute or cutesy. The glamour shots from the web page seem to be necessary but didn't square with what I saw as live shots from the contest. I'm not sure my opinion counts in any "face of" contest though.

Having said that, my opinion is that any poster here has to have pretty thick skin. We've all been skewered (boys, boys, let's not let our minds run on that one) more than once. It honestly is because everyone is so passionate and cares so MUCH about every detail of Champ Car.

As for Greece, I heard the same rumor in Mexico City. The head logistics guy from Houston said it to me. As if it were nearly a done deal. OPA!
