Word in Rocketsports pit in Mexico City is Renault test driver Franck Montagny wants to race. The guy who beat out Bourdais for the Renault test position hasn't raced in two years and all Sebastien has done is win a couple of championships! I guess Justin Wilson suggested the test to PG, saying Montagny was very good and deserved a look. Add him to the list of CC "hopefuls." Interesting story, per AR1. Just heard Tracy is looking too...for a DP ride at Daytona.

During the Grand Am at Mexico broadcast, they also mentioned that RuSport were looking to put AJ and Justin is a car for the 24 at Dytona next year.

the Daytona 24 probably will have a great field this year, last year was great too but it turned out to be very unexciting.

Racing series generally tend to be more interesting when the competitors can afford to run in them. Just look at Atlantics in '06.
