Geez...Newman, Wachs, Kwech, Brockman, Olsson...I wish they'd gone for a little more experience! :D... (40 cars to be delivered by March)

This is proof that Haas is going to the EARL! He's PO'd at the Panoz deal!

Not as many as Winston Cup. But more than IPS.

It's pretty clear that Atlantics is being re-positioned as a serious means of the driver/team/sponsor development as well as to provide strong support events on race weekends. Smart business.

One of CART's many major mistakes was neglect of it's own feeder series. They never rationalized the equipment vs the expense and ended up with a series on life support while a bunch of F3000 drivers with zero following outside Europe were brought in for the champ cars. The silly part is that it would have cost CART little or nothing to fix, yet it was just one of a laundry list of missed opportunities.

RuSport is a great example of what can be done when you develop a team, and that's the way forward as opposed to trying to lure back the Indycentric teams that left. CART was always too focused on the past and on Indy. Teams like RuSport never raced at Indy so it doesn't mean the same thing to them.

curious how you pronounce Wachs? Is it like "watch" or "woks" or "wax" or something else?

Is this the same Ed Wachs whose car took Jim Crawford to 4th at the '84 LBGP?
