On the Today show this morning (10/14), Katie Couric was promoting a segment that would talk about the apparent staged inteview with soldiers in Iraq. A few moments later the show went to correspondent Michelle Kosinski, reporting on location about the floods in New Jersey. Kosinski was canoeing in what looked to be in deep water. However as the segment begin two men walked in front of her in what looked to be a few inches of water. Michelle Kosinski attempted to brush this off, however Katie and Matt couldn’t stop laughing about the situation.

What's also stupid is that at the end of the piece, she's talking about all the damage that has been done because of the flooding, the quote is "tens of thousands of dollars". Tens of thousands of dollards is pretty much nothing. Hundreds of thousands, is so much more impressive.

the media never makes anything up :saywhat:

Do not apply logic to network news. It's not journalism, it's all about overnight ratings. If a monkey shoving marbles up it's *** drew big ratings there would be a thousand satellite trucks parked outside the monkeys cage till it ran out of marbles.

That is hilarious. TV broadcasting personalities are so deceptive it is disgusting. You should meet that Griff guy from those SPEED Channel ricer shows, he is just as bad.

Where was Geraldo? That dick was waiting in the wings till things were safe. Then he hops out, sobs and plays Edward R. Murrow. I hate that ****er and wanted him to drown during his ******** around the World boat trip.

Kinda rich when the 'media' tries to fabricate a story (staged interview) and leads it in with this crap.

I'm serious, Geraldo should get on the radio....instead of making an idiot of himself on television. He guest hosted on KLSX here in LA, where I talked to him twice and he was brilliant. Less chance of being a total fool on location there. He's actually very intelligent, one of the reasons he's been such a disappointment since 1986, when he jumped the shark during the Al Capone broadcast. He still in mid air constantly over that shark since then.

American's LOVE being lied to ... That's why the Administration does it ... That's why the Press does it ... and we try to justify it on both levels ...

If we protested about it, it would stop! but we don't .... We just make excuses for it depending on which side we're on !

Just shows what Amiable Dufus's we are !!
