Gone to the big cone of silence in the sky "Funny you should mention that..." ;) Timeless humor.

After we had the big ventilation hood in the middle of our kitchen installed a few years ago we took to calling it the cone of silence and still get a chuckle every time we use it. Don Adams delivery was brilliant and the writers came up with stuff that is still funny today.

Just heard on the news that, while he enjoyed playing the part of Maxwell Smart, there were drawbacks to the character's popularity: fans kept sending him shoes. :laugh:

Did anyone catch the premier of E-Ring last week? As Benjamin Bratt is being escorted through a couple of steel doors into a super-secret section of the Pentagon he's whistling the theme from Get Smart ... :)

Kind of strange. Last year Frank Gorshin died a week after his cameo on CSI.

Agent 99 WAS hot, especially when they had her gigged up in the 60's style skirts and the go-go boots... and she was great when she used to get all worked up and say "oohhh, Maxxxxx "
What about the robot dude agent... was it Laramie, or Larry or something ?
