in Portland?

Because Richie Hearn in the latest RM piece on the C website sait they lapped a second faster than atlantics.

I know ALMS and Speed WT skip the curves.

Kinda OT - and I really don't remember....

But didn't Speed WT skip the festival turns in the 1st lap only? Then they used it 2nd lap on, once they were spread out a bit.... I thought i saw that on the race on speed....

Star Mazda uses the festival curves.

Speed Touring and GT's skip them on the first lap.

The current Star Mazda's can be faster than the 2005 spec Atlantic at certain tracks as the Mazda has about a 15-20 hp advantage.

And as we were told by the series director at Mosport - the mazda engine is "detuned" for this series! Gotta wonder what kind of problems these kids would get into with even more power! Can't learn much when your in the fence huh? :)

I'd say they need to be de-tuned even further given the amount of engine rebuilds going on in the series.

No, its not bulletproof.
