I don't know what impresses me more, the astronomers ability to determine the exact day and time of the original shot, or Ansel Adams' mad skills.

d00d, AA wins hands down, considering the times and all that. If the astronomers can figger out the Hernandez, NM shot, I'll give them some street cred. (read AA's auto biog to understand the timing of that shot).

That's cool. The shadow's on peak in the center of the photo are almost identical. There must have been a thousand photographers out there that day.
