My heart breaks for his mother; to lose a son thousands of miles from home and then to lose a husband.:( Does anyone know how to contact the foundation mentioned in the article and make a donation?

Although I feel bad for her loss, I still find it amazing that it even went this far. After all CART was absolved of blame officially in 2001.

If you choose racing as a career, you know full well there is a chance you will Die, and a greater chance you will be hurt in varying degrees.

If you don't want to accept the risk, Don't choose the occupation.

I assume that the parents signed the same forms Gonzolo signed for CART, earlier in his career. I guess they didn't read it!
