It's going to be one of those days, folks -- I can't get myself wound up enough for work, so I'm sitting here wishing I had something fun to read. Therefore, here's a topic we can probably all contribute to, and help each other out in the process: list your top five time-killer websites you enjoy visiting / reading.

Rules: can't be racing related, can't be adult-oriented or themed, can't be overtly political.

- The Sports Pickle (http://www.sportspickle.com)
- Fark (http://www.fark.com)
- Dave Barry's Blog (http://weblog.herald.com/column/davebarry/)
- I Love Bacon (http://www.ilovebacon.com)
- Engadget (http://www.engadget.com)

Now, of course, the idea is to provide links to places that others may not know about but would enjoy. O'Gorman is officially disqualified from posting his links here. That's your punishment for... well... you know.

Glad to see the archives from Suck.com (http://suck.com/) are still available. Wonder what percentage of those old carefully crafted hyperlinks still work.

listening:
(This one might not count since it's really a listening, not a reading site. But if you're bored at work, and your IT department gave you broadband and a soundcard, and you can connect some discrete earbuds, and you have some company-paid time to invest...)
He might occasionally get a bit too political for WB's rules, but it's fun classic-radio style humor (and often some good music) at Harry Shearer's Le Show (http://www.harryshearer.com/leshow/) dome.

You're kidding, right? Racing websites are all I look at when I get tired of passport rules or government advisories or who's starting service to Timbuktu.

I'm probably going to regret this but, say Ankster (and others) WHAT is StrongBad email?

Wabbit: Cool website. I don't do domestic travel, unless it's my own and that takes an act of Congress to get me organized, so I had never seen that site. Looks extremely helpful.

www.FlyerTalk.com - Listening to people whine about how crappy first class service is, or that they didn't get Platinum luggage tags. Priceless. Especially for this new proletarian elite AAdvantage Gold member :p

www.slashdot.org - Needs no introduction.

http://en.wikipedia.org - I waste wayyyyyyyyyyy too much time on silly **** there.

http://matrix.itasoftware.com - Plan a trip anywhere on any airline for any reason! Want to fly from Chicago to Miami via Seattle, New York LaGuardia, Los Angeles and Fargo, ND? You, too, can figure out just how many weird places you can fly through en-route to where you're going.
