in my wanderings across the internet, i apparently picked up a bug that's overwritten my search engine with something called directNIC. i've been able to overwrite it as a search engine with google, but i know it's still running in the background, and can't seem to shake it (tried ad aware, spybot, and re-installing IE, to no avail). any help?
