AJ Foyt swarmed by bees (http://sports.espn.go.com/rpm/news/story?series=irl&id=2129239)
"He says he was stung in the mouth, the ears, the throat, all over his face and that his eyes are really swollen, but he's doing OK,"

Foyt was treated at the scene, but refused a trip to the hospital.
Yep, that was A.J.

He tried to "run away" from the bees, tripped and fell . . . Do you really think a 70 year old man can run away from a swarm of bees?

I'll bet it looked like a good WB cartoon gag.... I can almost hear Carl Stalling's music......

it's hard to run when you're carrying a sammich that big....

Do you really think a 70 year old man can run away from a swarm of bees? Weighing 300lbs just might have been a contributing factor as well... My guess is the belly flop off the dozer was about as much running as got done.

Sammich has been playing hobby equipment operator since he could afford to buy a dozer. Maybe it's time for a new hobby like dentistry or sumthin... :gomer:

No one would BUY it for him, so he told them to go "F" themselves ... he'll do it the "AJ Way" ... and so, the rest of the Story !!! ;)

Considering the condition of AJ's feet and legs following his Elkhart accident, for him to run even one step is an accomplishment.

I read on Speed that the bees were the Africanized Killer Bees . . . A.J. is lucky he isn't dead.

And to think the part I thought would hurt was him thinking that Chevy would make AJ IV any better than Toyota did. Hmm...go figure... :gomer:

And people told me it would never work, you can't train bees to attack a particular person, blah, blah, blah.

I guess I showed them.

What would you expect if you were smeared in Mayonaise from your sammich?

The bees aren't nuts, but AJ...?
