Danica has found her comfortable groove, that or she's having visions of her spine compressing against an attenuator after last week.

Our favorite guys have an even more comfortable groove at the back.

Could she walk away from one of those impacts as small as she is?

If someone cares to look up the qual times, we could compare the pole sitter's time to Danica's time and predict when the first debris yellow will fly.

Lap 163 -- Danica blows!

Lap 180 --This should have been a night race -- the shuttle crew would have loved seeing the pyrotechnics from orbit when four crapgwagons got together.

Visible from Space II? If so, I'm sorry I missed it (driving back from NJ today). Maybe it will make the lowlights reel @ 11. :gomer:

Danica mania is so blinding, that during a look at the effect of Danica Mania and up and coming girl racers, The LA Times even ignored Katherine Legge (the only woman doing any winning). That's criminal in it's stupidity!

VfS II was front and center in our local seafood wrap....along with the customary shot of The Danicle. :shakehead No mention @ all of Legge's win, but they did manage to include a mention of Graham Rahole's * Mazda win.

Saw this Danica quote on CCF and it is so funny it has to be shared. From a Detroit Free Press (http://www.freep.com/sports/autoracing/irlsider1e_20050801.htm) article:

She took questions from fans Sunday morning at the Legends Club hospitality area and one man asked if she thought she'd ever win in the IRL.

"I think I will," she said. "As long as I believe it, I think eventually it's going to happen."

She became agitated when an uninformed fan asked when she'd be moving up to the CART series.

She then exited for the stage to speak to a group of Girl Scouts.

Patrick appeared to be more at ease in that setting. She told the Girl Scouts to find something they love to do

And then she gave the girls some advice: "Always grab with two hands what you love the most."

 Uncle Bobby?

LMAO

She bacame "Agitated" when asked when she was moving up to the CART series

Agitated ? Did she start to twitch and convulse into headfits ?

She's fast becoming a Joke ... and she's fully responsible for that !
