I would really like to see this guy move up to champcars.

Wasn't he in the rumored test group for Newman-Haas?

He tested along with Bourdais and Zonta. Some site reported that Newman-Haas would make their decision in 'early January'.

Well, if he gets it, it will be on merit. He ain't no fortunate son.

It will also mean that he's no longer stuck in Lodi.

Did you just hear that song on Chicago radio (WDRV maybe?), also?

Nope. That was the easiest way I could keep the pun going. It's hard to fit "Suzy Q" in, for instance.

Perhaps someone with a Green River of cash will show up to fund him.

Yeah, I'd hate to see him stuck down on the corner, or out in the streets...

I Heard It Through The Grapevine that he might be considered for the Newman-Haas seat.

Otherwise, he'll just Keep On Chooglin' through the paddock looking for rides.

Perhaps we should hang in Effigy all the car owners who pass him over.

OK, I'll stop now. :shakehead ;)

Yeah, but lets be honest what is the best he can hope for his first year ? A "center fielder" so to speak ? :gomer: boooo

You should have seen him at Monterrey in '01. He was just walking around the paddock on Saturday asking "Who'll stop the rain?"

:gomer:

I have it on good authority that the guys at Newman/Haas like him. He went quite well, and gave good feedback. His times were very close to the much vaunted Zonta, who has alot more seat time in a high horse power car.

Newman/Haas would be a great seat. I hope he gets it.

He could be stuck down on The Boardwalk being interviewed by billyhack. :P

I'd like to see Fogarty get a shot in a good seat. His aggressive style would work well next year to help him bully around the significant # of RBW's.

Hope Jon gets the N/H seat. I would hate to see him out of racing and having to resort to slinging shingles "Up On The R-o-o-o-o-f..."
