Who the heck is R.M. Williams?
"The Bush Outfitter"

More than 70 years ago, Reginald Murray Williams AO, CMG began to make bush saddlery and boots while camped in South Australia's remote Gammon Ranges. Here, R.M. first met "Dollar Mick" Smith, an itinerant saddler, and after much trial and error, fashioned his first pair of stockman's riding boots. Since these early beginnings, the company has developed a world-wide reputation as a quality maker of boots and accessories.

Thank you for the pics mate. Really appreciate it. I felt a bit down this weekend missing the TV coverage and all so watched a bit of Nascar. It just ain't the same is it?

Those crystal clear shots have cheered me up Crapus, cheers.

Rusty.

PS, hey Robstar, thanks for your offer to tape the races mate, thanks but it would have cost a fortune and too much time for ya. Hopefully, I'll catch you in Surfers. :)

Crapus, those pictures are most excellent!

Very, very good. I really like how every little detail sticks out. The picture of Stupid Mario, notice the left front end plate rub strip dragging the track, and whats with the little blister on the right front of the Lola nose? Never noticed it before........

Thanks, fine work and would look good hanging in anyone's home

Never noticed it before........Evidently it's the new location for the timing transponder - added as of Monterrey. Paintergeek mentioned it last week.

I don't like it. It's an ugly wart.

Wow!. Look at that banking. I thought Nascar was running at Dover and not Champcar.

Seriously, great shots. I'm envious.

Excellent stuff  ...lol...1100 ? That's a ton of pics.that's not too bad really. they are coming around every 20 seconds or so and you get a lot more chances to shoot here than anywhere else. some of the guys did greater than half a race distance on Friday too.

I'm hoping you will post some of your stuff. I'd like to see what you got in turn 3 with that new kit.

Nice, man that 300 is sharp. Looks like you were in the box on the outside of the track between 1 and 2........quite the view is'nt it?

Looks like you were in the box on the outside of the track between 1 and 2........quite the view is'nt it? :eek:for the race I was on the island between pit-lane and the track. I shot the morning warm-up from outside turn 1 (photo hole in the fence) and I shot a bit there on Friday. did some pans on the inside of 4 and the rest was in and around pit lane.

did not make it to outside of 3... or outside of 2 (which is one of the more dangerous spots in the series as the hole is really low and you are pretty exposed there).

Excuse me, but would one of you geniuses photoshop a shot of Tracy crossing the finish line in front of a PACKED grandstand and send it over to one of our favorite mags!? I feel the need for a little controversy here. :)

Beautiful pics! I'm very jealous.

Just goes to show you access is everything...well, almost everything.

Film or digital?
