Stumbled across this today:
http://users.ev1.net/~hlsports/k0590.JPG
The type is kinda small, but it says "Racers Ed and Tony George"
Found it here... (http://www.headlinesports.net/sikids.htm)
It's from May 1990.

Wonder why Ed went with Carpenter instead of George. Well I guess that question answers itself. And whatever happened to lil' Tony?

Maybe there will be two cars for Vision racing next season. If TG can find enough of his relatives willing to risk their life, he might be able to have a full field next year.

Yes. I was surprised as well about the little Tony. I was filled in by some kids who went to school with him that he is a dumb as a bag of hammers, and has the personality of a banana peel.

this isn't surprising, considering which end of the gene pool he came from:

the dumbass end.

Mr. Spicoli sir, I must demand you retract your unfounded and slanderous comparisons of one Mr. Tony George, Jr. to "a bag of hammers."

This unfairly demeans and insults the hard work put in by thousands of Americans each year to design, manufacture, market and distribute hammers. Hammers are a useful and important tool in constructing and maintaining structures around the country. In short, hammers, sir, do not deserve to be compared to a person of such low repute as Tony George, Jr. There is no comparison between something used by millions of people every day and a person who sits around waiting for his inheritance to come due.

Sincerely,

The American Hardware Manufacturers Association

In fact, isn't there a rich guy in Indy who brings a hammer to work each day? Though hammers are dangerous in the hands of the unskilled. You can easily hurt yourself and others.
