Rahal is tall ....and I agree...and who would have thought every one of those sponsors except for Ford would bail?

Oh, look at all the lovely sponsors! :(

I think MA is 5'7" in height (lower than a snake's belly otherwise).

FMA and Mr. Rahole were born pricks, no change there. Lil Al just likes hanging out in Gasoline Alley, the boy was nursed on KoolAid. Emmo called ******** on "Indy" the day they slapped his hand for his BYO party in victory lane.

It would have to be '92, Rahal's first year with MGD sponsorship (he was still with Galles-Kraco the year before). Remember that '93 was the year Mikey went on sabbatical and got humbled by Ron Dennis.

"Take Care" became Pacificare (health insurance HMO) so there's one other sponsor that's still around.

Still, woulda thunk back then what things would be like in open wheel racing today?!

nope. "take care" on mikey's sleeve was the catchphrase of molson's "responsible consumption" ad campaign of the time. in the pic you can see the molson's logo underneath.

Thanks. Totally spaced off Michael's F1 year in '93, but then again so did he.

IF, and when, he wins again this year, if he throws down a "Hook 'em" it will go down in history as possibly the Greatest School Hand gesture of ALL TIME !!!!!
