I've got just one word for that press release......

"Cha - fuggin' - CHING" !!!!!!!

(Ladies and Gentlemen, the Brinks truck has just left the building)

And the NAPCAB juggernaut just keeps rollin' on down the road, collecting any and all sponsorship in its path, lining the pockets of the France family and the ISC. :shakehead

Praise Capitalism, and Praise St Dale.

I'm still pulling for the IMS to become the Anusol Ring Of Fire in a signature venue deal that seems fitting considering the giant hemeroid that owns it. Complementary suppositories with every tenderloin would be a nice marketing campaign.

Sounds to me like IMS is getting this money.

Allstate has signed a multi-year race entitlement with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway as the title sponsor for the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard.
More money to keep EARL running.

I see a return of the former Pelfry racing sponsor to take over the month of May - the Visionaire 500.

Visionaire (do they even still exist?) sponsored Byrd-Cunningham, never Pelfrey.

Man what took them so long? 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004...

It's was the only NASCAR race that didn't have a titled sponsor. But I think it's a dumb one, Allstate presents The Brickyard 400 would have been better. Even the USGP had SAP right off the bat. No USGP title sponsor this year?

Oops, my bad - you are absolutely right. I was in the right neighborhood, but knocking on the door of the wrong house. Thanks for the correction.

The 497.5 Presented by Methodist Hospital has a nice ring to it.

Wow... talk about brain fade to the tenth power, you are 100% correct.

I even go to Daytona. :o

But the Pocono 500 and the Pennsylvania 500 both have had sponsors. Miller 500, Teamwork 500, Purolator 500, Coca-Cola 500, and so on and so on...

The track, race, series and teams can all have naming rights. Imagine the possibilities.

The Indianapolis 500 presented by Conseco at the Home Depot Brickyard Motorspeedway was won by Northern Lights Indy Racing League driver Sam Hornish for Marlboro Team Penske.

Anything is possible. Sponsorship must be getting cheap.
