“I don't think I was surprised really because of the testing we had done from December all the way up to the race at St. Petersburg,” Target Chip Ganassi Racing driver Darren Manning said. “The car's actually been driving and cornering probably better than the Champ car. You know how many years of development they've had for putting them on a road course. But the IRL did a great job of seeing what we needed to put a competitive race out there. The cars are fun to drive.”

He also takes Kentucky inbred dudes off for make overs in the "two seater" and give them a little sweet surpise.

Again, you can't make stuff up this good....

"Wheldon sprang the surprise of the all-expenses-paid makeover on the Kentucky native in December and whisked him away to begin the life-changing procedures in the Jim Beam drink smart two-seater. At the Hall of Fame Museum, Wheldon introduced the "new" Nathan to family and friends. Wheldon also offers him a sweet surprise during his reveal. "

Is it any wonder? Of course they're easier to drive....that's an intended result of the dumbing down of OW race by the .1RL These cars have so much downforce and are so down on HP that a trained monkey could drive them full throttle around a wide-open street circuit. Hell, dint Vision boy and Futility IV boy prove that to be the case?!?

“The car's actually been driving and cornering probably better than the Champ car. " Manning needs an introduction to Montoya's grandmother for a driving lesson.
