Agreed.

The Rocketsports cars are quite interesting. Ryan's car is fairly sharp. Timo's is, er, not.

I like the new look for Forsythe.

The PKV livery is alright (although I much prefer last year's car to this one).

Bruno's car, I think, is too white, and Sebastien's car doesn't seem to have changed much, if at all.

HVM shouldn't have messed with their previous paint job.

I concur, too much red. Maybe some of the colours will change.

There are more in this one frame than a combined Friday and Saturday crowd at another recent street race. Those crazy event crowds! Like Foyt said, they are just there for the party. I mean, look at those crazy people! They're just wild, crazy partiers oblivious to whats going on around them! :rolleyes: :)

Colours? Bleu is a colour that j'aime, actually one of my favourites. The water by the harbour looks bleu. And don't forget the humour in my post. :p

Interesting changes to the Forsythe livery. I read somewhere that someone was suing them for maintaining the "Players" paint scheme even though Players wasn't on the car.

Well, when you put it that way... :) I see your point. Pealing the sponsors off leaves the old paint looking pretty bland. But I think the new scheme misses something without the blue cowling.

So what is the W.?.X junk on Fabio's car?It's supposed to be some sponsor that will be announced later. That's why I said it reminded me of the Arrows/t-minus/Nigerian Prince Malik fiasco of 99.

Wow...only 2,000 posts and Ill catch up with you.

The blue engine cover is kinda a funny deal. The tub scheme at the front changed this year, but the rest of the car stayed the same as its been since 2001.(see sidepods in my above post). It was ORIGINALLY designed as red/white/green scheme, but then they got Corona and changed the whole car for the first Mexico race to be blue/white/green instead. So that is actually Corona blue. When Corona went away, The color just kinda stayed. This year, I guess they decided there was no need for blue anymore, and resorted to the original scheme.......only flip-flopped putting the red where the green was and vice versa from the original scheme of 2001.

There ya go. More than you ever wanted to know :)

I still don't like it as well. I guess my primary complaint is that there's too much red up front, and since there are a bazillion other red cars, it just makes the grid a bit less interesting.

I think I would have liked it better had they left the green in place and replaced the blue with red.

Maybe it'll grow on me in a couple weeks. :)
