Double what I expected. I can hear the gomers now. IRL ratings are growing.

Wow, a test pattern would draw a number like that.

The Vision really worked.

.2 of that were probably curious CCWS fans.

.4 & an alleged 30k with many early-leaving 'fans' = hugely successful and will finally bury CC?? Seems like some sort of a disconnect to me.

Good thing they have Indy's coat-tail to cling to...could have been worse. [/sarcasm]

Yep. You guys shouldn't be watching :p

Was this on ESPN?

Wonder what the most popular excuse at TF will be

dang. How low can it go? Next year the attendence will be down and there will be no "curiosity" viewers on the tube. T&H, take note. :shakehead
TF reaction--> shock, denial, anger, guilt, bargaining, despair

So much for street races saving the IRL, nothing seems to work for them. Remind me again, why does the IRL even exist?

Since Andretti the lesser had so much to say publicly about the "success" of St Pete's, I want to hear his response to it drawing a .4 on television.

Come on Mikey...where are you now. Fukin idiot.

dang. How low can it go?

It pulled a 0.1 in NYC metro (<74,000 homes). Knicks-Bucks pulled a 0.2 on tape! Bowling got a 1.1! PGA pulled a 1.9. Bristol pulled a 2.4. and Yankees-Sox pulled an 11.6

They don't measure below a 0.1 but it was dead last in the market so it could actually be lower.

:gomer: vision amplified?

Like I stated in another thread, the engine mfgs are not going to continue pouring $$$ down this rat hole. Especially if they continue down the path of separating from F1. If that comes to pass, ALL of their $$$ and energies will be focused there and maybe NASCAB.

Not allegedly. IIRC, it was proven in a court of law under oath. Dumb **** was too stupid to pay off the ex wife and his drug use was proven in divorce court.

HEY MIKEY!! You forgot to include the .1RL fans in your little rant earlier this week. Let's see, what was that again?? Oh yes, Champ Car fans are ignorant for not watching the crap you help put on the track and neither of the .1RL fans watched on TV so it must be something that the fans are stupid about, couldn't be you or FTG or FHonda or............. :D
