There's a pretty good graphic in the LA Times this morning on Champ Car related the LBGP. Page two of the "local" section ("Orange County" where I am, probably "Metro" in other areas).

It has a little write-up describing the track, a car graphic with specs., a track/location map, descriptions of in-car happenings at 5 different sections of the track starting with Shoreline Drive (by Allmendinger, Bourdais, Hunter-Reay, Junquiera, and Wilson) with little maps showing each sector, and finally at the bottom, there's a pretty decent speed/gears graph for each section of the lap being described, which ends up showing the entire lap.

This particular graph shows a top speed of 186 down Shoreline, 175 down the back straight heading for T9.

Cool...just found a link to it: http://www.latimes.com/media/acrobat/2005-04/17026056.pdf

The Orange County Register will have its traditional LBGP section in the Friday edition. Very nice promo coverage about all the races, complete with photos of the Champ Car drivers and their cars. Must have been a challenging assignment to get those this year!
