Because I really wanna post, really really wanna post...

... a picture of Tony George wearing a Toyota shirt as a team owner just before the IRL has its first Street Parade.

On RASI and SpeedNet circa 1997! :D

TG sez: "This is really, really boring!/Which way to the Osco lot?"

I think he's jonesin' in the pic, digging his nails into his arm like that.

What are the street parade excuses at the popular lemming haunts?

jesus, you have that much money and can't afford a fricken iron? He always dresses like that. I chased him toward the Pagoda at the USGP and got his autograph :saywhat: It was like cornering a rat who shopped at a thrift store.

jesus, you have that much money and can't afford a fricken iron? Keep in mind that this is the guy that made what SI rated at one of the 10 Dumbest Decisions in sports over the last 50 years. And you expected a snappy dresser...? :gomer:

The wrinkles on the shirt look as photoshopped as that Nazareth crowd photo.

Now to be fair, it is a bit unrealistic to expect any company to stick to the same "vision" or whatever for the first ten years of its existence, but generally, when you make changes, things aren't supposed to get worse.

Word. Surely someone has a shot of him in his "Where's Waldo" coat and hat he wore to the bankruptcy court. :gomer:

Dare we ask why? I don't know. Seemed like the thing to do at the time. He was talking into his collar and trying to hide. So naturally I started shooting pictures of him. He took off and tried to run in the pagoda, but other people noticed and surrounded him. He signed my USGP ticket. He says "uhhhh" in person too.

I'm sure its now your most valuable piece of racing memorabilia.

Only Tony George would wear a wrinkled, quilted polo shirt. Quilted polo shirt? :gomer:

Doubtful an iron would help. Hey, he can't help it if his face looks like that! :D

 @ M&B's "uhhh"

My grill cover is nicer then that shirt. Is that him or a cardboard cut-out?
