Man, they walked right into that one. Obviously nobody at 16th and Georgetown is computer savvy enough to be able to check the forums and check the mood of the fans or even recognize the unique typing skills of the biggest IRL fan there is.

Besides the obvious Stevie Wonder joke, it is interesting that they're "borrowing" the carrot concept from ChampCar.

Hey! Isn't the picture in the background of the MIPS 100 and not the Indiananoplace 497.5?

And, they really should have at least photoshopped some more fans in those stands!

Perhaps it's a subliminal prediction of the field size for the 10tH AnNUAl indYCaR 497.5!

Lionheart: Dan Wheldon.

Now they are resorting to cartoons.

Apparently he has a picture of Richard the Lionheart on his helmet because one of the teams he was paying big dollars to run with told him he raced with alot of heart.
I wonder if Richard the Lionheart acted like a fruit after winning a battle? :gomer:

So now the IRL has Lionheart and a balding Danger Mouse.

Um...guys...I think that was supposed to be "and are".

I noticed that IndyCar (Series) cars are a lot more technologically advanced that NASCAR. Pit stop people don’t carry a tire jack. How does your work?

Than NASCAR? How do yours work? Who does your work?

Yellow Flag

The 'caution flag,' signals hazardous conditions on the track, and cars must slow immediately, maintain position and yeild to track safety vehicles until the green flag is displayed. During a qualification session, a qualification attempt is haulted.

And the nominee for the most pointless use of the word 'anyway' in a historical anecdote goes to...

Andretti Green Racing’s Dan Wheldon was quite the karting sensation before moving up the ladder to the IndyCar Series. Just ask and he’ll confirm his prowess on the esses in Europe with maybe a touch of embellishment.

Anyway, here’s the story of why Wheldon has a Richard the Lionheart mural on the back of his helmet. Of course, you know that Richard Plantagenet is revered as one of the great warrior kings of England during his reign from 1189-1199.

Kanaan started on the pole for the second consecutive race led 79 laps

I gotta stop now. They're on every freakin' page.

No one cares. The IRL is like that one guy you work with that no one can stand because of everything he/she does. So what do they do? Brag about what they have!

Weldon just bought a new house. We have all these sponsers. Look at us. We are cool. We define cool.

Everything they do is with the intent of trying to prove how cool they are. Just watch about 5 mins of anything IRL related.

I guess keep everyone distracted with that than they product they put on the track.
