....by watching this PCA qualifying lap. This guy needs softer springs for that track!

Being offline makes for alot of steering input. Hence a rough lap.

I beg to differ - that second in car had a fine line (unless you meant offline as in having to pass slower traffic), and the car was set up WAY better - look at the lack of high frequency bumps around the last corner, vs. the first video. Guy was a better driver, too. He was "ahead" of the track, and much cleaner on up- and downshifts.

Way to much line recovery. Everytime he turns that wheel for those corrections he's scrubbing speed. Perhaps I'm nit picking but a tenth here and there is the difference between the front row and mid-pack.

I'd love to. But I can't. :(

See, if I click that link, SeanO will start another 36 page thread about the evils of ALMS.

I'd like to see an on-board lap from one of the Spyker Spyders... now that's wind in your hair

But I don't dislike the ALMS! In fact, I chose to start my vacation from work tomorrow instead of this past Saturday so I could watch all of Sebring. :)

You know what? You're right. I went back and looked at it. While his line was fine (that's all I was looking for in response to your original post), he's trying to carry too much speed into and through the corners (esp. the slower ones) and it's slowing him down on the way out. That hurts at Sebring with so many long straights after slow corners.

Nah, it means I'll actually have the time to go and get out of the house this week. Most of my posts are made from work and school.
