I don't know how they'd get the spokes to maintain both rigidity and flexibility over time, but at minimum it looks like the perfect replacement for the standard spare time to me... I wonder if you can retread 'em? Or respoke 'em?

I notice in the press release they don't say anything about anticipated mileage.

Saw 'em at the NAIAS in January... way cool :thumbup:

Stroker, apparently one of the big stumbling blocks is retreading them... apparently the tread is heat-shrunk around the "tweel" and it's a major PITA to get it off...

They won't. They'll just get up next to the evader's car and shove a stick in the spokes.
