Wait, that last line at the end is the first time the article mentions a weapon! And the story ends there??? WTF?

The second article says it was pepper spray, "...with which he intended to fight off any animals he met along the way, the court was told."

Yeah, I went to edit my post and got the old "connection was refused" and with my US-mandated 30-second attention span, I forgot about it.

Pretty hard to actuate that pepper spray trigger when you can't feel your fingers, though.... :laugh:

Another Darwin Award wannabe. :shakehead This must have seemed great on paper to someone from LA. Just stroll over the boarder and get on a bus. Minus temperatures weren't in his severely limited data bank. Traveling 7km in 100hrs pretty much tells the story.

Ironic that he had pepper spray to protect him when the only animal remotely dangerous to him was himself... :rofl:
