I went through the same **** on my 21st, 7 classes, 17 hours, would alwasys be on the first bus to school at 6:30 and the last one home at 11pm, turned 21 on a Tuesday and 5 exams the next 3 days.... :flame:

needless to say I have no memory of that weekend after 12pm noon on Friday :gomer:

I had been 21 for about 10 minutes when we bellied up to the bar. I asked the bartender if he gave free birthday drinks. He said, "sure, Bruce. The regular?" Then I showed him my ID. "YOU SON-OF-A-B****!" He immediately checked my roommate's ID. He was older than me.

I was just about to say, I remember you telling that story on my 21st.

I wish I had a cool story like that but I've looked "of age" since about age 18 and never got carded at any bars until the week before my 21st. :mad:

These stories of 21 drinking age remind me of what it was like "way back when". the drinking age was legally 18, but almost every night you could find 16 year olds being served.
