Dunno about a specific number, but as of today you can add reigning FBMW champ Andreas Wirth to the list in the second Brooks car.

I wonder how the Atlantics teams feel about the overseas expansion. Then again, it isn't like Champ Car has ever cared about their support series' anyway.

Hey, line up some Korean Atlantics drivers, switch to Kuhmos and, hey! -- free trip to Korea!

I know the principals for McAtee Motorsports and his son Brian was pretty fast in Star MAzda for some races, with limited seat time, and usually started from the back of the field and moved up well, either due to attrition, or passing several fellas.... they will probably run a limited schedule and I believe they bought the old DSTP equipment, or most of it.... Good to see another entry coming forth. I was just waiting for the press release and here it is...

Looks like 20+ for Long Beach, though most will be C2 cars.

After the Beijing press release, how long until somebody with an Atlantics team announces a Chinese F3 driver for 2005?

After the Beijing press release, how long until somebody with an Atlantics team announces a Chinese F3 driver for 2005?There aren't any talented enough right now to waste their time in Atlantics. Any Chinese F3 driver would go straight to a top Champ Car ride nowdays.

We need a Formula Atlantic AND a Formula Pacific, then a big-ass weekend championship face-off between the top 14 from each series in Topeka or someplace! Top 3 get a CC test or two to see if they can move up the next season. And CC does TOO pay attention to the ladders..."show me the money, we'll pay attention!"

That already exists, its called the SCCA National Championship Runoffs and they're even moving to Topeka next year. :p

Yeah, first $¢¢A moves HQ to Topeka, now the runoffs. I wonder how big the check was.

Yeah, that's what made me think of it.

Supposedly they are promising something between $5-15 million worth of improvements to the track for SCCA to move the Runoffs there.

Does anyone know what happened to Josh Hunt, who turned down the Walker ride at Surfers last year (to Besnard's benefit) in favor of saving his budget for another year of Atlantic instead?

Former F3 Euroseries driver Charles Zwolsman will also be at the LBC in a Condor car.
