Speed Channel intro to the race

What did everyone think of the Speed Channel intro to the race? I thought that the music was HORRIBLE - I understand that they were trying to go for an Osbourne-esque type of thing, but it didn't do anything for me or my bud who came over to watch the race. Something loud would have done a lot more for us. What do you all think?

Yeah, I think it was a flop. The Osbornes are a bit past their prime for a reference to be hip. The pace of it also just broke up the production too much. Maybe if they could have had a good payoff like showing Chip Ganassi as the crapping, puking bulldog it would have been worthwhile.

I was not home when the race started so, I missed the opening.

However, I did notice that the crappy music that they played last year everytime they went into and out of a commercial break was absent this year.

That in itself made the broadcast much, much more enjoyable. I can't vote in this poll but, I just wanted to express my satisfation with what I did notice.
