I don't know much about him, but I've read 'The Crucible' and it's probably the best play I've read. Fantastic.

People like him don't come around much ... "Death of a Salesman" & "The Crucible" still have basis in fact today ... He wrote them as lessons, but not enough people learned from them ... His plays are continuously acted in High Schools, Colleges, and Theatre throughout the Country which only tells you that not many writers have had the same kind of impact!

Whenever he appeared on TV as a commentator, or the Author reflecting on his writings, I've made a point to listen

Glad he lived so long to relish his success ! :thumbup:
