Looks like they made them steadier, safer with standard curtain air bags. But bumpy little bugger, the RAV 4 is so much smoother. The Saturn VUE seems better with more horsepower, but doesn't come close to Honda's $19,795 price for their AWD LX.

While the Kawasaki ZX-6R has a 636cc engine, the smaller-engined ZX-6RR (600cc) comes with a slipper clutch.

The best kept secret in that segment is the Suzuki XL7. Lots of room, a V6, a standard box, tows 3000 lb and four wheel drive for 20 grand. Nobody knows about it, so you can get thousands off. They practicaly pay customers to buy them.
