Having a little get together over here. Rather stay home and make everyone come here than to try to go out tonight. How about everyone else?

Oh, and playing with my new notebook from Santa.

Just hanging out @ home with the lil' one and the wife. Gave up on amateur night years ago.

Happy New Years to all and hopes for a better year in 2005. Too much depressing stuff happened in '04. :(

Work until 11, then a friend's house. Probably not drinking tonight, I don't really get into it on New Year's.

I'm staying with friends in Bodfish, CA (in the mountains east of Bakersfield). It feels strange to go on a trip that doesn't include a race! :D It's very pretty here, with snow on the hills nearby, but darned cold for a coastal Californian.

Gotta go back to my pool game. Happy New Year!

I'll be here in my house with a heavy iron skillet over my head hoping none of the hundreds of rounds of ammo going off in and around my neighborhood winds up going through my roof.

Yee Haaawwww!! :gomer:

after some champagne, going to a bar out on the lake to drink more bubbly with southeast houston's finest 25-35 yo gold diggers. it's a nice extra to the only place with good selection of beer in this part of town http://www2.hornfans.com/wwwthreads/images/icons/rose.gif, oooo and brick oven pizza, yumm.

Staying in with the kids this year, so far the main fight has bee over do we watch Strawberry Shortcake, or Star Wars?

I don't care what I do, as long as it doesn't involve watching Dick Clark. Nothing more pathetic than being out on the west coast watching people do a countdown that happened three hours ago. :gomer:

We usually host a big ol' bash of 30 people...but waited too long this year to make up our minds between that and going swing dancing - so everyone made other plans. :D So it's us and one other couple, eating and drinking and visiting and hopefully playing poker and video games into the wee hours, once all six kids fall asleep! :)

I don't do rentals anymore, and my parking skills aren't that bad. I offically made it through 2004 with only $88 in damage to customer cars in my name (broken mirror that wasn't my fault, and broken license plate bracket). Much better than the untold thousands from 2003. :D

I played board games with about 20 people or so last night at a friend's house. Nothing quite like Pictionary at 2am.

Happy New Year everyone. Richard and I just stayed home, had a nice quiet dinner and drinks to toast in the new year. Today, I have my first headache of 2005.

Happy freakin' New Year! Can somone tell me why it's important (lucky, whatever) to throw down a gutfull of pork and saurkraut the day after some epic binge drinking? Now it's off to the crapper, and return every half-hour. I guess the booze wasn't a good way to follow up on having the flu earlier in the week? :D

PS: Fill your salt shakers, dammit!

PPS; The only that sucks about being off today is having less people to share the "Joy of Saurkraut" with!
