(in case you missed it elsewhere...)

I've got a friend who is a Star Wars junkie, but not much of a racing fan - he told me that part of the original speeder bike model was made by crafting on part of a formula one model kit. I assumed he was delusional...

But I'll be damned! You can still see the roll hoop cowling and even the grills on the engine cover!

Perhaps one of our Photoshop experts can help mark the common parts. I don't see it.

Set the photos side by side, the notch just behind the speederbike seat is the cover for the roll hoop, then the flat surface below the bag is the engine cover for the brabham (you can make out the vents under the saddle bag if you look closely). I'm crap at posting photos (hence the links! :gomer: ) or I'd help you out more. :)

Along the same line, the warp nacelles of some Star Trek NG and V shuttle pods are clearly the handles of Gillette Sensor razors...

I'd do the links, but I am to lazy and busy not working.
