It is rumored that Nextel will announce that it is being gobbled up by Sprint for a $36 billion stock swap.

Will that be the end of the Nextel Cup and the beginning of a Sprint Cup?

No longer a rumor. Just announced on Bloomberg. Course, til AR1 picks up the story, it's not 100%. :gomer:
