My Email just dinged and I get this. Can't these A-holes be swept off the earth somehow. These morons now think they can set-up mate matches with race fans and one of their own. Wasn't there a law introduced about crossbreeding with animals?? Here's the Email I just got. :mad:

I use unique email aliases everywhere I register, so I know OC is responsible.

Perhaps a PM asking another member if they have harvested emails from this website....

If so, I believe turning off email addys in profiles is called for. Oh, and banning a member too.

That would explain how they got my work Email. This is the only site I ever used it at.

Anyone who doesn't want their email address visible in their profile should go to the User Control Panel, select "Edit Options" and disable the option titled "Receive Email from Other Members." I believe that will eliminate the display of your email address.

Displaying your email address is an option when you register. I've changed the default to not display email addresses. If you're already registered you'll have to change it yourself.

Off Camber does not and would not provide email addresses to any third party. The only exception would be for legal reasons.

We had already sent a PM to TheDJ warning that they had no business on this forum if they couldn't be bothered to address users' concerns about their spam. We also warned that they would be banned if we got any indication that they were harvesting addresses from OC. TheDJ hasn't been around to respond, probably because she only shows up to post ads for their show.

TheDJ (Crash Gladys) has been banned. Anyone else associated with SpeedFreaks will also be banned. No further plugs for their "show" will be permitted here unless they come from a legitimate member of the forum for the benefit of the OC community.
