That's just about the best picture of that Audi I've ever seen! That's what sports car racing is all about, it really captures the essence of long distance racing.

Once again, I must post my favorite (although the one above is pretty damn good).

Thanks for the comments! Mucho appreciated. I'm still not where I want to be with this camera. I shot almost everything last weekend at full manual (for the first time) and did pretty well, but I have seen other shots with the same camera that leave me wanting more... (especially night shots)

As always, fantastic photos Crapus.

I've been thinking about next year and where might be fun to go...
what would you say is better - Petit or Sebring ?

For me... Petit. Road Atlanta is a better track... and maybe I'm getting old, but the party at Sebring can be a little excessive. There are a lot of people there that don't even know that a race is going on. I don't get that impression at the Petit. I also get the feeling that the Petit is on the upswing in a big way... and I really enjoy watching this event grow into its own.

I will do Sebring again (maybe even next year). Its a totally unique experience (and the car count/quality of field is undeniable!). I was talking to Railbird about it this year at Petit... its hilarious what those snakehunters can come up with in 50+ years of going to the same race.

I've never been to Sebring, but I'd have to recommend Petit Le Mans. Much better viewing, more intense action (lower attrition rates), and more family friendly, if you are bringing the kids.
