World Championship Figure Eight

No kidding, tonight here in Indy. This event PACKS the SpeedDrome. This is the 28th year in a row. I went back in the early 90's, as they were gracious enough to let the Midgets be a support race. I had never, ever seen that many people at the SpeedDrome in my LIFE!

You know what, the top cars were very well turned out, and very fast. I could not freakin' believe it!

Cool event, and if you only go to one...........

My cousin and I make a race or two every couple of years. We got a kick out of the roadrunner class.

I've seen the cars that run that thing. They're every bit as well turned out as a fast Late Model - and darned quick. One of these days I've gotta get to the Speedrome - but only to watch...:eek:
