Saturday Spa pics: Blanchimont and Eau Rouge

As most of you know... most of Saturday practice was rained out (all but 15 mins) so I didn't have much of an opportunity to get pics from Blanchimont, but I did get a few good ones. The weather was dreadful... I can't recall ever being caught in a relentless rain shower like this. 18 hours without any breaks whatsoever.

Qualifying was exciting. Seeing them in the wet on Saturday and then in the dry on Sunday was cool as hell. The speed difference was incredible. I also continued my almost unblemished record of not being able to get a single good shot of the eventual polesitter. :D

Maybe the upside was that it soaked the Germans fireworks? I remember waking up around 2am thinking it was a freaking Battle of the Bulge re-enactment. :eek:
