“We know the car is going to go well at Road Atlanta and Laguna Seca,” said Bickerton. “The car is quick, and we have been working hard to make it more reliable. We don’t think we’ll win Petit Le Mans, but we think we’ll be on the pole, and if we finish second or third, we'll be happy.

“But it's going to be a different story at Laguna Seca – that’s going to be our race. We’re going to show those two Audis something. We’re really that confident."

Here's hoping the Brits give the Audi's a run for their money.

Wasn't Jankowski linked to CART at one time?

It means to me that real racing is alive and well.

That's good news. The field at RA was pretty slim. I hope they stick around for next year. Natural terrain courses need a couple series around in order to survive and if Champcar isn't at RA, ALMS will be my primary race weekend their next year.

"Well?" I don' think I'd go that far. :/

ALMS is hanging on by it's fingertips field wise, a network time buy hasn't attracted enough sponsors to support more teams.

Be that as it may I'm pumped for the Petit.

I blame the LMES. It is my hope that many of those teams will make the trip over for petit.

Joest's decision to head up Audi's DTM factory effort didn't help either.

I'm pumped for Petit too... I think its about time we started a gtg thread ;)
